AYSO 1586 - Elmore County, AL

About the 1586 Elite Program

The AYSO 1586 Elite program is a competitive soccer program designed to provide a more challenging level of play for those players who possess the appropriate interest, skills, and abilities. AYSO's principles, Everyone Plays, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, and Player Development will be emphasized, however not all tournaments or matches are AYSO so playing time may not be equal.

The teams are able to play in NON-AYSO tournaments, play friendlies with club teams or other AYSO teams. Teams practice at least twice a week for 90-120 minutes each session. Teams can also elect to play in tournaments which usually take place on a Saturday and Sunday.

Teams created for the AYSO Elite program will be responsible for some of the fees associated with tournaments. (Hotel costs, food, gas, etc.)

How to Join

Registration for the Elite program is a 2-step process:

  1. Tryouts:
  2. To sign-up for a tryout, you need to register your player to the Elite program and the proper age division. On the last screen of the registration, you will see a $0 Tryout Fee. No payment is due at this point. Nonetheless you need to confirm the Billing Address; click Continue; click Continue one more time, then the Complete Order button. Once this step is complete, the coaches will see your player on our list. We will reach out to you so that we can schedule a tryout for your player.

  3. Complete Registration:
  4. If your child has been accepted onto an Elite team, you will receive an email. This email will have a link that will take you back to this website and have you login. Once you login, you need to click the "Accept or Decline position" button next to your child's name (see image). From here, you will need to complete the rest of the registration and pay any fees due at checkout.
